Paid a $3000 retainer for a lawyer who rarely acted or communicated with me and did not appear in court for me. After weeks of not knowing what was going on I received a bill for an additional $4000 despite no progress on my matter and no court appearances. An apparent family law specialist who charges 7k to accomplish literally nothing. Disgusting.

I had a consultation with Tayler Bowdren on Tuesday 2 may 2023. I was consulted to plead guilty to a situation of reactional abuse to which my ex-wife committed a series of coercive control tactics to provoke a reaction. Extremely bad advice, especially at a time when I was trying to navigate the complex system under attack with no knowledge of police and magistrate systems/laws and dealing with false allegations of domestic violence. Unfortunately men live in a world now where anything false can be said without evidence which seems to be seen as 'factual' by the courts, in an attempt to inflict serious harm, using government departments to continue their abusing so you can never truly move on. This is called systems abuse.

Very cold and impersonal service during a time/ transaction that required a little bit of empathy. Poor communication and care. Needed to follow them up to get any communication or updates/ forms sent. Would not recommend.
