There is a commonly held belief that marital separations are nasty, expensive endeavours that leave both parties with more misery than when they were still together. Whilst that may be the case for some people, it was certainly not for me when I went to O'Reilly Shaw. Louise O'Reilly made what could have been a prolonged and difficult process a seamless experience which resolved much faster and easier than I would have ever thought possible. Louise was extremely responsive in that if she didn't answer the phone, she would always get back to me on the same day. During our meetings, she was very knowledgeable and explained the confusing family law system in a way that I could readily understand. Her approach made me feel like I was in good hands throughout the entire process and the final result was a testament to that. I have no hesitations in recommending anyone to O'Reilly Shaw.

Throughout this process, the O’Reilly Shaw team made me feel valued as an individual, they were very nurturing and supportive of me and the difficult situation I was in. I contacted Louise two weeks before my matter went to trail. As a father of two children I was very nervous about my matter and hoped that I could get the best outcome for my children. From the moment I contacted Louise, she and her team made me feel very comfortable about ever step that was to be undertaken. Louise’s professionalism, knowledge, transparency, and no nonsense time-effective approach was absolutely A1. In the short period of time that I gave Louise, she had my documentation and everything else in perfect order for my matter and also organised terrific council for my trial just days before Xmas! For me, this ordeal of a custody battle was the hardest thing I have had to go through. Louise’s caring, considered, yet very professional approach made me feel like I was always being listened to and given the right legal feedback throughout. I was briefed on every step including my impending trial and it certainly made me feel at ease and confident that my matter was in good hands. When it came to the trial date, with Louise’s experience and professionalism, a very fair, and most importantly child focused outcome was miraculously achieved without having to walk into the courtroom. Negotiations had failed for many years prior to this and I just wish that I had of found Louise earlier! I would strongly recommend Louise to anyone. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
