If you suffer an injury as a result of an accident and need actual real advice, there is only one name you need to remember and that is AMK lawyers. At 35 years old, freshly engaged, 5 kids and undergoing significant career growth, I was involved in an unusual vehicle accident were I was stuck and dragged by my own stolen vehicle. I suffered various physical injuries which are still felt often 4 years on, but the more serious injury in my opinion was development of significant PTSD and major depression which has completely changed the direction I thought my life was going! I am now 38 split with my partner, a disrupted broken house hold, medically retired from my career I worked hard for and suffering major PTSD episodes. I truly believe that if it was not for Michael and his team at AMK lawyers, I might not be here writing this review today. The one thing you don’t consider after an accident involving injury is the little control you will have with the outcome of your recovery and life. Michael and his team did not have it easy with my issuers nor myself as a client. It felt like every application for rehabilitation was challenged, every possible tactic my insurer could use to delay was attempted and my deterioration in mental health was a challenge for the firm and In particular Michael. I didn’t look at reviews or seek any recommendations from anyone when looking at personal injury lawyers after my accident, AMK lawyers were literally the first one I found after a Google search. Don’t do that, I have real world experience and advice unfortunately now, and there is not a time during recovery that will feel easy. I can’t believe how lucky I was that Google matched me with Michael and AMK. He was always there even when he shouldn’t of been, during his own family commitments and holidays. Michael is an incredibly smart man and has worked as a defence lawyer for the issuers before starting his own firm helping people who needed to make a claim against issuers. He foreseen and knew every tactic they used before they used it. Not going to sugar coat it, there is no easy road when you are making a claim against insures, so let and trust the man that was a defensive lawyer for a major insurer take the lead. It feels like every application for rehabilitation was tested, my integrity tested and financial burden ultimately lead to my relationship and family break down. The challenge AMK had at times from myself was unfair, at times I thought even they were working against me. Michael helped me focus more on recovery. I was worn down and financially broken, it was pretty obvious to the insurer that there was a big possibility I would have to settle at conference and not have the financial or mental capacity to go on. To this day, I am still blown away how Michael and AMK got the insurer to a really good settlement when I was backed into a corner. I am forever grateful and have some hope for my future, don’t leave it to luck getting the right firm or advice like I somehow did and let the team at AMK Lawyers fight the fight you don’t need with confidence.
